FAQs
In this section, we'll cover some common questions our clients & colleagues have surrounding programmatic SEO.
Should I just post all my pages at once?
We encourage publishing your programmatic pages as naturally and progressively as you can. Usually, we unroll pages with a steady daily cadence depending on the collection's total initial size. As we publish, we perform regular technical checks to make sure the content is being properly indexed and crawled.
After the latest Google algorithm update, isn't programmatic SEO a bad idea?
The latest Google algorithm updates (as of August 2024) don't condemn programmatic SEO, but low-quality, AI-generated content. If your content is spammy, generic, and low-effort, Google will deboost it. But if your programmatic collection offers real value through unique content, it'll rank.
How long does it take to implement a programmatic SEO strategy?
Depending on initial collection size, implementation can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.
Do I have to pay a retainer to have an SEO collection live?
Postdigitalist doesn't charge a monthly retainer just for having your programmatic pages live. We do charge a retainer for optimization and monitoring. However, depending on the stack you're using, you may have to pay a couple of software subscriptions.
